Movies enjoyed during WWII and the l940 era. Movies were the main sounce of entertainment during the war years, and radio. Of course we were not exposed to TV or the internet, during those days. And, during the war our monetary values were limited and so was gasoline, which was rationed, to attend. Therefore, was a very special treat to visit a movie house. Before the movie was presented, there were up to date troop movements (security protected) and a cartoon.
