October 2, 2006 While innocent little children were attending school in an Amish community, they were struck by terror as a mentally deranged man forced his way into the school. The world will never forget, nor understand this tragedy.
Five children were murdered with their little feet tied facing the blackboard execution style , five were injured. Who can understand this monstrous action. Especially in an innocent community where living is simple in an Amish environment, with God loving people. What a horrible shock for these people, who are not familiar with violence of any nature.
After the funerals of these children, it was decided to desroy the school house. Helpful to the other children, as well as the community itself.
